On Saturday 6/18 The Windjammers are inviting all of our members to sign up, hoist sails and ‘get out the boat’ for our club’s Summer Sailstice event. Our plan this year is to combine the Sailstice celebration with the father’s day race. To participate you only need to have, or have had, a father.
The race will be an easy distance race followed by a raft up at Berkley Park.
This will be a very low key, fun race. Absolutely no racing experience is necessary and families are invited; and expected! The raft up will be potluck with adult beverages and soft drinks provided by the host committee. The race details will be decided the day of the event dependant on the wind conditions. The raft up and pot luck dinner will begin around 4PM.
