Half Moon Bay Yacht Club hosts a day to come and sail a small boat with an instructor. This year we are including adaptive sailing craft for sailors with disablities. The water craft include 6'-20' sailboat, kayaks, and stand up paddleboards. The club is located on the beach at the west end of Pillar Point Harbor.

11:30 - noon sailing orientation - vocabulary, boat parts, points of sail
1pm - 1:30 hands on sun sightings with sextant
2 - 2:30 knot tying
Lay a course for our beach clubhouse in pastoral Pillar Point Harbor where you will experience a family atmosphere around the bar and barbeque. Ride the ferry out to the Club fleet and sail with the vibrant harbor marine life or explore the sandy beaches and tide pools overlooking the big Maverick’s surf. Memories of salt spray, sea shells, and sailing are waiting for you here.
