To celebrate the annual Summer Sailstice worldwide event the Carter Lake Sailing Club will be hosting the public to an open house of our facilities on June 18th. In addition any members of the public that are interested will be invited to go to join club members on their boats for demo sailing voyages out on the beautiful waters of Carter Lake. The open house and demo sailing trips will run from 11am-4pm on Saturday. Registration will be at the Carter Lake Sailing Club's clubhouse where refreshments will be served, The sailing voyages will depart from the CLSC docks through out the event.
Later the evening the members of the sailclub will head out onto the lake for their annual Summer Sailtice Raft-Up and potluck. The members will anchor up together on the lake and go boat to boat for a progressice pot-luck and enjoy a summer sunset over the Colorado Rockies.
