Congratulations to Summer Sailstice founder, John Arndt, on his newest venture as owner of West Coast sailing magazine, Latitude 38.

‘It’s shared activities and stories that build communities. Latitude 38 has had a unique ability to share the stories of West Coast sailing, while the annual Summer Sailstice event was created as an opportunity for sailors everywhere to connect in a global celebration while also publicizing and demonstrating sailing to the uninitiated - all those people who, so far, haven’t been lucky enough to call themselves sailors. I see both the monthly Latitude 38 and annual Summer Sailstice as opportunities to share the stories of sailors and sailing with the whole world.’
