San Juan Sailing is hosting the ASA-sponsored weeklong flotilla out of Bellingham, WA, which will take in the San Juan Islands and Canadian Gulf Islands. You can email flotilla leader, Capt Roger, for more information -

Cap't Howie is planning the 2018 Gone Sailing Adventures' circumnavigation of the Toronto Islands, "Sailing out to Lake Ontario we pass Tommy Thompson Park and Gibraltar Point and drop anchor at Hanlan’s Point for a front row seat to view the night time spectacle in the sky." Join this event and you'll also enjoy Sunset Toast and Hors d'ouevres while you welcome the summer solstice and watch the sun set over Western Toronto -

Rockland Yacht Club, Maine, is hosting their annual 'Solstice Race', which has been running longer than Summer Sailstice itself! The race engenders "friendly, spirited competition, and a chance to knock the rust from sailing skills and reflexes dulled by our long Maine winters", and is followed with a BBQ, pot luck, and trophies. "This is the reward for those who get their boats in early, and come out to mix it up!" -

Stockon Sailing Club has announced they are celebrating with the Summer Sailstice Poker Run. It costs nothing to particiapte, and the boat with the best five card poker hand wins a Treasure Chest Full of Gold Doubloons valued at $75.00! If you've never joined a 'sailing' poker run before, this is your chance to try it out. Register for Summer Sailstice and RSVP to the Stockon Sailing Club's Poker Run, you could win twice! -
