A pre-race reception will be held at TIYC near Clipper Cove on Treasure Island in San Francisco on the Friday before the race. Sponsored by Treasure Island Yacht Club.

All racers are encouraged to participate. TIYC will provide a full non-host bar and serve appetizers. A specialty Mount Gay rum drink will also be featured. There is ample car parking available.
A Regatta Notice Board with the Sailing Instructions and Division / Class assignments will be posted (the same information will be available on Jibeset).

Racers familiar with the tides, currents and shoals in the south bay will be on hand to offer tips.

Dinner plans: After the pre-race reception, participants can
wander over to Mersea (699 Avenue of the Palms on TI) or
head to EPIC Steak in San Francisco and indulge in innovative steakhouse cuisine.
