Check out the great new prizes and enter the Video Comp!

This week we are pleased to welcome back a number of our longtime supporters:

Ontario Sailor and Seahorse Magazine are each offering subscriptions for their excellent publications. Ontario Sailor will keep you up to date with stories and news of all things sailing racing and cruising, and covering the Great Lakes region in both Canada and the USA. Both dinghy sailing and large, fixed-keel sailboats are regularly featured in the magazine. While Seahorse Magazine covers all angles of racing from Olympic glory to the latest in design and technology in yacht design.

Also back on board are Samson Rope, J/Boats, White Caps Marine Outfitters and C.Sherman Johnson's Grab'n Go Hook -

Samson Rope have donated a package of their high quatlity dock lines. With over 130 years experience, Samson have invested extensively in research and development to create some of the 21st century's most innovative cordage products. In fact, in 2014, Samson, in partnersip with Manitowac Cranes, launched the KZ™100 - the first ever synthetic hoist-rope designed specifically for mobile cranes. Well if they can do that, imagine what these ropes can do on your boat!

While we're discussing historic involvments in the marine industry, did you know that C. Sherman Johnson Co. Inc began in 1958, when a man by the name of Curt Johnson Jr. developed the Handy Lock Turnbuckle? After six years of part-time marketing Curt Jr. resigned from his full-time job and went worked on developing a line of stainless steel turnbuckles and fittings. His product was readily accepted by many major sailboat manufacturers, and the rest, as they say, is history. Today, Curt Jr.'s sons Burt and Curt III continue the tradition of excellence and innovation to develop world class stainless hardware products for the marine and other high-tech industries.

So what are J/Boats offering?  Up for grabs are 2 x $100 vouchers which you can use for purchases of clothing and gear from their store. Particularly cool if you happen to own a J boat! But even if you don't you could still wear some of the J/Boats cool gear or maybe use your voucher to buy a bag, belt, backpack or perhaps even a fleece blanket. Either way you have to register for Sailstice to be in the draw, so get with it and sign up now, if you haven't already.

Whitecaps Marine Outfitters have donated a blue Ronstan Clear Start™ race watch. With big numbers and big function buttons, it's easy to see why the Ronstan is a world-wide favourite. Developed with input from some of the world’s top sailors, Clear Start™ watches and timers are sure to set the standard for years to come. Though if you don't happen to win the watch, you can still shop for high quality gear from Whitecaps' extensive range of clothing, gear and accessories. Check them out and see what's available!

And now, just for something different, take a look at this Weems & Plath Signal Flag Dial Clock. New to the Summer Sailstice support crew, Weems & Plath are donating this colorful clock to one lucky sailor. The Endurance II Signal Flags Quartz Clock in brass is maintenance free, weather resistant and guaranteed not to tarnish or scratch.
