Ever wondered what it was like to feel the wind in your hair dancing over the waves as you sail our beginner freindly IC24? Now is your chance with short taster sessions on Saturday 23 June at Nanny Cay.
We have to go to a wedding on Saturday the 23rd (summer weddings on a Saturday? clearly they weren't thinking of sailors), but on Sunday we'll sail the length of Muskegon Lake, and out onto Lake Michigan for a good long sail.
SF Social & Treasure Island Sailing Center work together to put on a unique sailing league for adults. 6 week sessions allow for participants to learn the basics of sailing and racing in an informal and group friendly atmosphere.
Join Sierra Point Yacht Club in the annual Treasure Island Race. Starting at Sierra Point, race around Treasure Island and back. Prizes will be awarded at a celebratory dinner that evening.

Sailing with friends and family in the 80th Annual Queen's Cup Race from SSYC, Milwaukee, WI to Grand Haven, Michigan. Race start on Friday afternoon, 6/22/18, and finishing on Saturday, June 23.
sailing for a week in southern and central puget sound near olympia washington. On my 26 ft , boat. it is an annual trip with my sailing buddy and we go for a week to enjoy the longest days of the year.
We must re-start our French Polynesia customs stay so must clear from FP and enter another country. We've selected Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, the closest country to FP. We'll sail the 600 nm downwind, check into the Cook Islands, then sail back to FP for another 36 months.
The Sailing Chavurah will start our Annual Summer Cruise with a raft-up in Mill Creek off Whitehall Bay. We have been starting our 2-week Summer Cruise around this date for about 15 years, and the longest day gives us plenty of daylight to party.

This is our annual fun race for the Wally Shifler Memorial Trophy. The course measures approximately 7 ¼ Nautical Miles, and if the prevailing winds are present, a broad reach should be enjoyed in both directions.
Every year Seattle Yacht Club runs two low key Cruise 'n' Snooze events from Shilshole in Seattle to Port Madison on Bainbridge Island. This is a members only event, but SYC does run several public regattas throughout the year.

Lake Ontario Offshore Sailors, Please reserve the weekend starting Friday, June 22nd for the 47th start of GYC's Scotch Bonnet Light Race for 2018. An 82 Nautical mile race starting in Rochester, sailing around Scotch Bonnet Island, Canada, finishing in Rochester on Saturday.
Now in our 5th year, sailors from DIYC rally from our club to Sail Pavilion in downtown Tampa to showcase our sport to the public. The sail up the channel is challenging and fun. We raft at the Pavilion so people interested in sailing can mix with our crews.

Saratoga Lake Sailing Club is hosting free sails for anyone who would like to come out and see the Club and go for a sail. The dates are Saturday 6/23 and Sunday 6/24. We go out for 1.5 hours at 1PM and 3PM on Saturday and 10AM on Sunday.
Half Moon Bay Yacht Club hosts a day to come and sail a small boat with an instructor. This year we are including adaptive sailing craft for sailors with disablities. The water craft include 6'-20' sailboat, kayaks, and stand up paddleboards.
We are celebrating the Summer Sailstice with a Poker Run. On our Delta, poker runs are usually done with power boats rushing from resort to resort, collecting a card at each.

Since the late 1990’s the Rockland Yacht Club has held an annual race on the Saturday closest to the longest day of the year. Aptly named the Solstice Race, this event is held around government marks in West Penobscot Bay.
For years, s/v Windward has hosted a Summer Sailstice raftup on Watauga Lake, Northeast Tennesee's (with a little help from TVA) stunning gift to sailing, generally in an easy-to-access location. This year?
Plans are flexible at this time, but we will start at noon on the Super Dock. The 5th anniversary will definitely include the big four: food, sailing, music and fun. More details to follow.
