Sailing a Chrysler Mutineer on Whitmore Lake with a good friend on Saturday June 22. This will be the first sailing outing of the year for both of us. Wind pending, may go for a second day of sailing on Sunday, June 23.

 

Today we'll be at the docks in Pier 32 Marina offering an into class for the public. Our goal is to spark the interest for sailing among everyone. Especially the youth since they are the future navigators of this planet.

Leaving marina at Joe Wheeler State Park in Rogersville, AL at 6:00 P.M. for two hour sail on Zoe, Baba 40 PH cutter (slip 512.) Members of the Huntsville Sail and Power Squadron, Coast Guard Auxillary,  Joe Wheeler Yacht Club, and other interested persons are welcome.

Buoy Poker

A deck of cards will be placed face down on the ski buoys around the lake. Participants will sail to the buoys and pick up a card. Bring your "hand" to the pizza party at 5 pm to determine the winner

A daysail with friends and crew to circle the Bay and practice spinnaker sets.  Planning a close pass by the Marin Headlands, across the Bay at the Golden Gate Bridge, a turn to port to go pass Crissy Field, St. Francis Yacht Club and Golden Gate Yacht Club.

Just the two of us sailing aboard Reliance.  Where ever the wind takes us, you’ll find us there!  Starting in Bellingham, an overnight at Shallow Bay on Sucia Island, then who knows?

Planning to sail with our crew on Jubilee, a Beneteau 36.7. The Sharps Island Race is an afternoon race out of Herring Bay run by the Herrington Harbour Sailing Associaton. Love sailing out of Herring Bay with our crew and skipper Keith Mayes!

Taking a few co-workers out on the mighty Windsong. She is a great Santana 22, and the current national champion. We'll leave work promptly at 4pm and get sailing! We may anchor up at Lover's point to watch the sunset.

We are hosting our four grand kids for "Cousins Camp".  Each year we plan something unique for cousins camp and this year it is sailing on Schatzi .

After celebrating the past 2 or 3 events on the hard in the boatyard the s/v Little Island, is in the water in time for the 2019 event - and weather permitting she'll be out sailing...

Together with my crew aboard Silik, we are planning a Friday evening sail and BBQ on English Bay in Vancouver, BC, Canada. There is also a dock party at the Vancouver Rowing Club that night that we might visit and then go for another late night sail.

I'll be teaching ASA's Basic Coastal Cruising with 4 great students from Modern Sailing School in Sausalito, CA.

Sailing out of the historic Rochester Canoe Club (1881), on what should prove to be wake-free Irondequoit Bay.  A 5 mph speed limit is in place, due to (unfortunate) high water levels.

We will get the family and friends on the water to enjoy the bay aboard Endless Hubris.  A Catalina 30 that is maticulously maintained and sailed like the bonny boat that she is, deserves.

We want to get as many Chatham Sailing Club members on the water as possible this year. The plan is to assemble sail boats and crew at 1 pm on Saturday, June 22nd at the mouth of Turner Creek, as it enters the Wilmington River (in the vicinity of G27).

Severn Sailing Association's long history of hosting great one-design racing continues on the Summer Sailstice with "Summer Series" for several of our fleets--505s, Lightnings, Stars, and Thistles.

This is an up and back race on the Sacramento River/Deep Water Channel.  There are no handicaps, no seriousness, and no complaints.  There are only two divisions, 31 feet and under, and over 31 feet.  Unlike our D Cup Rally in August, this is a race to see who has the fastest boat.

This annual event is the final event in the CLSC Spring Race Series; it also marks the beginning of the Summer Cruising Series. After the race, the Program and Events Committee will host a Parrothead Party and Cookout.

After departing our home port located in Fort Myers, Florida we will sail south to the Dry Tortugas.  We hope to pick up the Gulf Stream and ride it all the way to Horta, Faial Island, in the Azores chain in the Atlantic Ocean.  Hope to visit old friends from previous crossings.

4-Day Sailing Course on Lake Superior. Starting in Bayfield, Wisconsin we board our sailboat Wednesday evening, June 19. We will daysail on June 20 to get familiar with our boat, then set sail the morning of June 21 to explore the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior.

The St. Ignace Yacht Club is happy to announce its plans for this years Summer Sailstice. Come Join us for a day of Fun racing on the water followed by a BBQ on the shores of Beautiful Lake Huron in the Straits of Mackinac.

The Hunter Sailing Association Station #1 will be having their annual Summer Sailstice Raft-Up. This year's raft-up will be held at Waterhole Cove off Harris Creek in the Chesapeake. The club will host a wine tasting contest at 5pm on host Jeff and Barb's sailboat Melanna.

Lake Ontario Offshore Sailors, Please reserve the weekend starting Friday, June 21nd for the 48th start of Genesee YC's Scotch Bonnet Light Race for 2019.

Sailing off of the Dunedin Causeway in the Inner Coastal or out through Hurricane Pass into the Gulf of Mexico along Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands and Clearwater Beach.

Cleveland Race Week (CRW) is the largest sailing regatta on Lake Erie and has become one of the largest in the country. The annual event, now celebrating its 39th year, attracts over 300 boats from across the U.S., Canada and internationally.

I will be sailing with NSHSA and HSA1 sailing clubs in a joint club event on the Chesapeake Bay.  The event is still in the planning stages, with raft up destination to be determined.

Join us on the Deck for Cocktails followed by a the most amazing spaghetti supper created by Wolfe & Luann (Resolute).  After Dinner join us on the water for a sunset sail.

At Grand Lake Sailing club Tom White has traditionally celebrated his birthday (June 21) by grilling Bratwurst and roast corn for members and guests. This year we will organize a non-competitive group sailing event earlier in the day.

Corinthian Yacht Club sailors will start their Summer Sailstice weekend with their regular Friday evening (June 22) beer can off the race deck in Belvedere Cove.   70 boats are signed up for the season with racing running April through the end of August.

The Master Mariners 26th Wooden Boat Show is a rare opportunity to view and board classic sailing yachts, all while meeting their skippers and learning their history!

Departing Bellingham, WA, for our one week cruise we will be visiting lovely Sucia Island, a state park known as the “Jewel of the San Juans.”  Then crossing into Canada for a group welcome dinner at Sidney, BC on Vancouver Island.

Once Again Yaquina Bay Yacht Club will provide short sailing trips to the public on a first come, first served basis from Noon-4:00 PM, then host a Rockin' Boogie Dance Party with the legendary Lloyd Jones Quartet providing the groove.  Sailing is free, party is a fundraiser for the club.

This event is being organized by Encinal Yacht Club.

Snipe Fleet 12 will be participating.

The Scotch Bonnet Light Race is a race from the Port of Rochester, NY to Scotch Bonnet Island, Ontario, Canada and back. Hosted by the Genesee Yacht Club.

Lake Pend Oreille Yacht Club is hosting the Cruise to Hope Idaho.  From our homeport in Bayview, this will be an approx 25 nm sail to Hope for a Saturday overnighter and return to Bayview on Sunday.

All sailors from LPOYC and Sandpoint Sailing Association are invited.

I am going to head for Stockton SC with an intermediate stop at Three River Reach. 

As in the past 10 years, we'll be sailing the Hunter 36 on San Diego's "Big Bay!"

The Twin Cities Sailing Club will be holding our third annual Summer Sailstice Picnic and Sail. The event is open to people interested in the sport of sailing and in sailing on the Minneapolis chain of lakes. Wind and weather permitting, we may offer sail boat rides to the public.

I'd like to get several other boats to join us sailing to Santa Cruz Island, anchoring Saturday night and returning Sunday.  If you haven't been, it's a nice trip across the east Santa Barbara channel, past offshore drilling rigs, through the shipping lane, frequently with fair winds on the beam.

The 501c3 Disalbed Veterans Sail Day will be holding their 7th annual disabled Veterans Sail Day. Each year we take veterans out for a day on the water. We have sail boats power boats and Electric boats taking Vets out.

Trans Tahoe Regatta 2019

The Regatta will feature different PHRF divisions starting Friday, June 21nd with afternoon buoy races followed by the long distance race on Saturday, June 22rd with a new competitive race course. Look for updates on off the water fun as we approach the event.

Sooke Sailing Association, Sooke Sailing Co-op  and Starlight Sailing Adventures are getting together to get poeple on the water to sail with a raftup and pot lock dinner at the end. Join us for the fun!

Cruising Magothy River.  Overnight on either Broad Creek, Eagle Cove or Dobbins Island/Sillery Bay (depending on weather)

The Sailing Chavurah will sail around until it's time to party. We will be in the Kent Narrows area. We will send the anchor boat(s) in to the nearby creek and then the rest of us will follow in and form a raft or two.

S/V Windward is once again hosting Summer Sailstice somehow, somewhere, on Watauga Lake.  The dogs and ponies were all busy, so this is a show-and-go day sail and raftup. If you have a sailboat, a good attitude and concurrent senses of humor and adventure, consider joining us.

The sixth annual Summer Sailstice will be held at High Noon on the Super Dock at LCYC.   We will have our traditional Pot Luck Buffet (you bring the sides - we’ll bring the meats) , plenty of Buffett tunes and some cool libations.

On Summer Sailstice 2018 we enjoyed sailing from Pt. Richmond, CA to Pillar Pt. in Half Moon Bay on Saturday and return on Sunday, our plan is to make it a annual event each year for the Summer Sailstice. Any & all are welcome to join us, we leave Brickyard Cove early! 

This annual event is the final event in the CLSC Spring Race Series; it also marks the beginning of the Summer Cruising Series. After the race, the Program and Events Committee will host a Parrothead Party and Cookout.

We can't believe that another year has passed and it is time again for the annual Summer Sailstice event!   We hope you can join us for a fun filled weekend on the water.  

Time for the PEYC opening event of the year and shake down sail.  Come join us for the 'Round the island Rally as the first club event of the season.  Register early for a chance at the Sailstice prizes.  Meet at the end of 'G' dock at 11:00 for skippers meeting and instructions.

The 2019 Commodore's Open Classic Regatta at beautiful Huntington Lake, CA is brought to you by the MHRA only a few days after the Summer Solstice and with an 70% visible moon. With the best lake sailing in the world, the amazing views and camping are just a bonus!

Sail to the Ossabaw Island area and anchor for an extended lunch, then continue sailing the sounds until deciding to anchor for the night.  All sailors invited to participate.
