I purchased a Hunter 33.5 as an upgrade for comfort and relaxation as per the wife. Had a 4 day adventure sailing the boat down from RI to NY up the Hudson and encountered some surprises along the way.

A public event was not planned in our area, so I took the opportunity to put my Snipe, Curly Mermaid, in Cinco Bayou---part of the backwater system of the Choctawhatchee Bay.  My friend, Joel D., and I, put in at the Cinco Bayou ramp and sailed on the bayou for a couple of hours!

One Design Race today! Registration at 1pm, Skipper's Meeting at 2:10, racing at 3pm. Summer Sailstice weekend! Hope to see you on the water! 

Just a quiet sail on Krayola with friends and family, wrapping up a great weekend.  We'll be watching the sun set over Philadelphia from our little red boat on the Delaware River.

Possibilities is a 1987 Catalina 38 that is a member of Nevada Yacht Club. Recently she's had a new Edson steering pedestal installed, her life lines replaced with Amsteel Blue (dyneema) and all of her lights are LEDs.

Blue Lake is a small private lake for Blue Lake subdivision residents, located in the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado.  We'll be sailing Sunfish and Lasers!

I plan to sail aboard the Schooner A.J. Meerwald on NY Harbor.  Guests will find the Meerwald in Liberty State Park behind the Statue of Liberty (Exit 14B off the NJ Tpk).  Tickets are still avaialble.

Boats leave leave the harbour, as does the commodore's vessel.  The commodore's vessel anchors. After a lovely sail, and suitably fortified with vast quantities of hors d'oevres,  all boats organize themselves into some semblance of a line, and proceed to sail past the commodore.

Westwind is offering FREE 20 minute interactive sail rides in Dana Point Harbor to help unite sailors worldwide and to celebrate and share our passion for sailing.  3 passengers maximum per sail ride appointment.  Minimum age: 6 years.

With warmer winds, the last weekend of June will also bring Portland’s first annual SchoonerFest, a showcase of five large traditional schooners organized by local non-profit, Tall Ships Portland.

The Lake Stockton Yacht CLub is hosting an Inter- Dock Challenge!

This will be a reverse start (chase race) for all members. Members should challenge sailboats from other docks, marinas, lakes, oceans and/or planets to come and race with us!

Because of the high waters in Lake Ontario, our club lift in was delayed till June 17. So on the 21st I will be going for the first sail of the year on my boat.. After that I will go to Cobourg and crew on a boat in the Wed. Evening around the cans races.

Mimico Cruising Club's sixth annual raft up will be held in the usual location.  This year, with luck and weather permitting, we plan to form a sunburst from our Club's mixed sail and power fleet in honor of the summer solistice.  Wish us fair winds!

Apalachee Bay Community Sailing is hosting a youth Regatta for children ages 8-15 who attended summer youth camp. Sailors will show the skills they learned during their week at sailing camp. 

Volunteer club members will offer free boat rides to anyone interested, weather permitting.  We usually start around noon and go until 5:00.  Welcome everyone!  Come promote and celebrate sailing with us!

The Lake Worth Sailing Club (Fort Worth, Texas) is celebrating the 2017 Summer Sailstice by getting its membership involved with several events on Saturday June 24.

Seattle Yacht Club runs their Cruise 'n' Snooze regatta twice a year, one in Spring and one in the Fall.  Participants race from Shilshole Bay to Port Madison in the Puget Sound near Seattle, WA.  They spend the night at a yacht club outstation in Port Madison and race back the next day.  While p

Now in our 4th year, sailors from DIYC rally from our club to Sail Pavilion in downtown Tampa to showcase our sport to the public.  The sail up the channel is challenging and fun.  We raft at the Pavilion so people interested in sailing can mix with our crews.

Liberty Sailing Club of Philadelphia raises the bar on Sailstice events with their annual Solstice Super Soaker, a water gun (cannon?) shootout on the Delaware River among their seven club boats (and the occasional uninvited guest).

Our SailStice Open House includes sailboat trips on some of our 16 boat fleet from 23' Ensigns to our J44.  We will be taking out our CS 30 and Hanse 320 also.  We will include docking, reefing and Man Over Board recovery demonstrations too.   Drinks and a light lunch will be served.

Cleveland Race Week (CRW) is the largest sailing regatta on Lake Erie and one of the largest on the Great Lakes. The annual event, now celebrating its 37th year, attracts hundreds of boats from across the Great Lakes and beyond.

Organized by Blast Performance Sailing, this race shares the course of the last leg of the Van Isle 360 International Yacht Race's circumnavigation of Vancouver Island, from Victoria to Nanaimo BC through the Gulf Islands.

ACsailingSF will be celebrating Summer Sailstice on San Francisco Bay with scheduled public sails from Pier 39 at 10:30am on June 24 & 25.

The Northwest Sailing association(NWSA) will be sailing in 3 general areas: 1)from the Chicago harbors 2)from Waukegan to Racine harbors and 3)on Lake Mendota in Wisconsin for the 2017 Summer Sailstice. 

Please join us on Boulder Beach for a day on the water and some fun sails with the club.  Bring food and drinks for the beach and certainly recommend some shade.  Starting at 11:00 am but will likely go throughthe night.

The Trans Winnebago race is an annual sailboat starting either at the bottom of the lake (Fond du Lac) or the top of the lake (Neenah/Menasha or High Cliff).

Since the late 1990’s the Rockland Yacht Club has held an annual race on the Saturday closest to the longest day of the year. Aptly named the Solstice Race, this event is held around government marks in West Penobscot Bay.

We can't believe that another year has past and it is time again for the annual Summer Sailstice event coming up soon! We hope you can join us for a fun filled weekend on the water. 

The Gulfstream Sailing Club is making its annual cruise to Stiltsville on June 24 - 25. Members can sail from Fort Lauderdale to Stiltsville, which is a group of houses on stilts about a mile offshore from Miami. Last year, we had eight sailboats docked their overnight.

Fleet 30, a sailing club whose motto is "Sailing For Fun", will meet on the beach at Cape Charles to salute the setting sun and celebrate the first day of their Annual Cruise Week.  Members have their charts plotted to traverse the lower Chesapeake Bay for 10 days.

The Twin Cities Saililng Club, a community sailing club that promotes the sport of sailing and is based on lovely Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, Minnesota, will be hosting a Summer Sailstice event on Saturday June 24, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.

Be part of the 2nd annual Schroon Lake, NY Hobie Cat Regatta, June 16-18, 2017.  Schroon Lake is a beautiful location nestled in the Adirondack Mountains of NY State.  The pristine waters and views are spectacular.  The racing will be fun and competitive.  This will be a Hobie Cat point regatta.

Port Ludlow back bay is a club favorite in June. Hosted by Milltown Sailing from Port of Everett. This is an anchor out raft up event in the secluded back bay of Port Ludlow just West of the entrance to Hood Canal.

Celebrate a week of Landsailing on the dry lake bed playa of Smith Creek near Austin Nevada. Come for the week or just for a day. We will be camping out on the lake bed so bring your RV, tent or stay in a local  hotel in Austin, Nevada. This is not a race but a rally.

Everyone is invited, get on a boat, and get out on the water and sail on Saturday June 24. Anyone can join this event, as long as you get on the water!

Summer Sailstice happens to fall during our Flying Scot North American Championships this year. While the competition at this regatta is going to be stacked. We are hoping to get around 100 boats, of varying skill level, to race in either our Championship or Presidents fleet.

I will be headed out of the Forked River and sailing up the Barnegat Bay with a stop at Tices Shoal at some point for lunch and a swim. Hoping to get a few other boats to join in to celebrate Summer!

Learning to sail is easy and fun! Ninnescah Sailing Association offers learn-to-sail programs for members and non-members of all ages that are informative and fun.

After three years of dropping water levels in Utah Lake, the winter of 2017 is on track to set new mountain snow pack record depths. Hydrologists are already predicting flooding, depending on how spring temperatures rise. Statewide, all of our reservoirs and lakes need water.

When there's wind we sail.  When ther's not we paddle and Party!  Lakes Bay in West Atlantic City, NJ is warm shallow (2-8ft deep) water to sail, windsurf, kite or paddle.  We have the whole bay to ourselves without motorboat traffic.

Weekend of June 24-25, 2017, a small gathering is planned over the launching of a fleet of 3 Rooster Class Sailboats , with 1 being Chritianed in it's first launch.

We'll be celebrating Sailstice with an exciting Flotilla! Our event is open to all, sailing experience is not required! 

World Cruising Club is holding a circumnavigation of the DelMarVa peninsula. We depart Annapolis, MD on June 24 and will sail straight through to Portsmouth, VA. We will observe the longest day by sailing by sun and by moon throught the night. Sign up with WCC and join in the fun.

Captain Dave and First Mate Mel will be sailing with any friends in Saco Bay and anchoring at Richmond Island or Cape Porpoise (Stage Island) depending on weather and seas.  This will be our 4th year.

The 5th annual Summer Sailstice in Key Largo will be June 23-25 anchored off of Sundowners in Black Water Sound.  Plan to join with Matheson Hammock Yach Club,local Jeanneau sailboat owners, and the Florida Yacht Group for a relaxing weekend in the Keys.  Dinner Saturday night will be on shore at

Enjoying our annual cruise in the Apostle Islands on beautiful Lake Superior. Caribbean of the north. We have been sailing the Apostle Islands since 1985. We love taking people to the biggest lake in the world and showing it to them from a different point of view.

Open to all sailors on and around the Patuxent River. Plan to raft up on St. Leonard's Creek after a day of sailing on the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay.

Lake Ontario Offshore Sailors, Please reserve the weekend starting Friday, June 23rd for the 46th start of GYC's Scotch Bonnet Light Race for 2017. An 82 Nautical mile race starting in Rochester, sailing around Scotch Bonnet Island, Canada, finishing in Rochester on Saturday.

Ladies, come on out for SAILSTICE and participate in this global sailing celebration!  Get 1-on-1 sailing instruction to prepare for our September 10th Women on the Water event. Experienced female skippers, this is your opportunity to help other women grow as sailors.

Sail Nauticus members and guests are invited to sail to Portsmouth Park on the Western Branch. Wind and weather willing, we shall dine in the grass onshore, so pack a lunch and bring a frisbee!

Spend 24 hours doing what you love best - BOATING and spending time at the lake!  We'll be enjoying the longest day of the year doing just that AND raising money for the two volunteer fire departments that service the lake during emergencies.

Leaving the home dock, sail out to Bombing Island for the sunset and early purple martin watching....

Before you pull that sailboat out of the water, join us for the annual FLYC cruise to New York cove.

MISSION:  SU4C is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research in the education, prevention, care and cure of all types of cancer through the art and enjoyment of sailing.

 

Go sailing on our member's boats in the afternoon, join us for a dance party at the Clubhouse in the evening with the world famous Groove Merchant Lloyd Jones and his band.
 

Individual members of the Maritime Yacht Club who are boat owners at the Manitowoc Marina will spearhead this event.
