ARC DelMarVa is a week-long rally around the DelMarVa peninsula. The rally starts outside Back Creek in Annapolis on June 21st, with a stop over in Portsmouth, VA and Cape May before compleating the loop in Annapolis.

All are invited to spend the weekend sailing Big Lagoon, California.  A little piece of paradise in Northern California, Big Lagoon is a safe, landlocked body of water with ocean influence on the conditions.  Prevailing north west winds make Big Lagoon a great spot for all skill levels.

This is the first event of its kind.  Right now, we have a few boats from the Benicia Marina that plan on sailing the Carquinez--no host club.  The Carquinez has three marinas, Benicia, Glen Cove and Martinez.  It's our "plan" to sail from Benicia, to Glen Cove, to Martinez and back to Benicia.

Chicago Sailing is celebrating Sailstice.

The Catawba Island Club will host a day of sailing with the University of Toledo Sailing Team.  The day will include the club youth sailing with the UT Sailors followed by an evening of sailing for the Sailstice.  A photo contest will be held both from boat to boat and from shore to boat.

Tahoe Community Sailing  Program will be conducting Novice sailing classes this day for summer Sailstice with 22 novice sailors. This kicks of four  summer of teaching sailing and boating safety in our region. Classes run through Aug. 18.

Our WYC Club members will be gathering off Waikiki at 12 noon on Saturday, June 20th.  Last year we had over 40 types of water craft join us in the celebration on the water, and are planning to have a larger number this year.

This is our annual club cruise and all sailors are welcome to join us. Oakcliff Sailing and Sagamore Yacht Club are hosting the 3rd Annual Alzheimer's Regatta.    Open to racers, cruisers and paddle sports boats.  There is a pursuit race for the sailboats and a poker run for the paddle sports boats.

The X-Bay Challenge Regatta celebrates the appreciation of the Bay as well as friendly competition and camaraderie. This perpetual regatta seeks to celebrate the Bay’s intrinsic beauty, with its islands and bridges, and its challenge of wind and current.

SailSFBay is inviting the entire Bay Area to sail San Francisco Bay for the Summer Sailstice global celebration of sailing.  No boat?  No problem.  There are dozens of ways for anyone to get out and enjoy sailing one of the world’s finest sailing venues.

Enjoy an afternoon of sailing on Lake Petenwell before rafting up for a potluck around 4 out on the lake. Then stay overnight out on the lake if you choose and enjoy the evening sky!

There is no charge to race but a small contribution to dinner and party provisions may be in order.

Our club's second year participating in Summer Sailstice.  This year's theme is "A Celebration of the Sun."  Feel free to participate in all, or just some, of the day.  Visit to Serpent Mound, Group Lunch, Boating Book Exchange, and an afternoon of casual sailing.

Plans for 2015's Summer Sailstice event on Watauga Lake are delightfully nebulous but involve a raftup, BYO dinner, swimming, a campfire on a nearby beach (weather and site permitting), a relaxed evening and zero drama.

No experience necessary! Just bring your smiling face and splendid attitude, something for your dinner and breakfast, whatever you want to drink (and perhaps a titch extra to share) and your overnight gear, plus a couple of fenders and some mooring lines. If you have an anchor and associated tackle handy, bring that along as well.

First annual CHNYC Summer Sailstice! This event is for the entire CHNYC community--members, families and friends. We’ll “raft up” somewhere close to Newport where we can celebrate the Solstice in marine tradition and start a tradition of our own. We will fire a canon or blow our horns at local solar noon.
