After departing our home port located in Fort Myers, Florida we will sail south to the Dry Tortugas.  We hope to pick up the Gulf Stream and ride it all the way to Horta, Faial Island, in the Azores chain in the Atlantic Ocean.  Hope to visit old friends from previous crossings.

 Fathers Day, Summer Soltice and my birthday all fall together at the same time. For a retired couple, we will daysailing, then anchoring for the for a night under the stars.

4-Day Sailing Course on Lake Superior. Starting in Bayfield, Wisconsin we board our sailboat Wednesday evening, June 19. We will daysail on June 20 to get familiar with our boat, then set sail the morning of June 21 to explore the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior.

The St. Ignace Yacht Club is happy to announce its plans for this years Summer Sailstice. Come Join us for a day of Fun racing on the water followed by a BBQ on the shores of Beautiful Lake Huron in the Straits of Mackinac.

The Hunter Sailing Association Station #1 will be having their annual Summer Sailstice Raft-Up. This year's raft-up will be held at Waterhole Cove off Harris Creek in the Chesapeake. The club will host a wine tasting contest at 5pm on host Jeff and Barb's sailboat Melanna.

A group afternoon reaching sail starting at one pm.  Oak Orchard Yacht Club dining room and bar will be open at five o’clock for participants and regulars.  After dinner live music by Mike McCauley.

Lake Ontario Offshore Sailors, Please reserve the weekend starting Friday, June 21nd for the 48th start of GYC's Scotch Bonnet Light Race for 2019. An 82 Nautical mile race starting in Rochester, sailing around Scotch Bonnet Island, Canada, finishing in Rochester on Saturday.

Natamus will be sailing from Marco island to Sanibel Island and back over the weekend of June 22 as their Summer Sailstice.

Everybody is welcome to join.

Sailing off of the Dunedin Causeway in the Inner Coastal or out through Hurricane Pass into the Gulf of Mexico along Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands and Clearwater Beach.

Cleveland Race Week (CRW) is the largest sailing regatta on Lake Erie and has become one of the largest in the country. The annual event, now celebrating its 39th year, attracts over 300 boats from across the U.S., Canada and internationally.

We will be in the central Pacific on our way to Palmyra Atoll and Kirimati. 

We’ve spent the winter in the Bahamas so all spring will be spent working our way north. By June I hope to be on the way to New England.

I will be sailing with NSHSA and HSA1 sailing clubs in a joint club event on the Chesapeake Bay.  The event is still in the planning stages, with raft up destination to be determined.

Join us on the Deck for Cocktails followed by a the most amazing spaghetti supper created by Wolfe & Luann (Resolute).  After Dinner join us on the water for a sunset sail.

At Grand Lake Sailing club Tom White has traditionally celebrated his birthday (June 21) by grilling Bratwurst and roast corn for members and guests. This year we will organize a non-competitive group sailing event earlier in the day.

I plan to day sail my C&C24 on Monterey Bay.

Corinthian Yacht Club sailors will start their Summer Sailstice weekend with their regular Friday evening (June 22) beer can off the race deck in Belvedere Cove.   70 boats are signed up for the season with racing running April through the end of August.

The Master Mariners 26th Wooden Boat Show is a rare opportunity to view and board classic sailing yachts, all while meeting their skippers and learning their history!

Departing Bellingham, WA, for our one week cruise we will be visiting lovely Sucia Island, a state park known as the “Jewel of the San Juans.”  Then crossing into Canada for a group welcome dinner at Sidney, BC on Vancouver Island.

Once Again Yaquina Bay Yacht Club will provide short sailing trips to the public on a first come, first served basis from Noon-4:00 PM, then host a Rockin' Boogie Dance Party with the legendary Lloyd Jones Quartet providing the groove.  Sailing is free, party is a fundraiser for the club.

This event is being organized by Encinal Yacht Club.

Snipe Fleet 12 will be participating.

The Scotch Bonnet Light Race is a race from the Port of Rochester, NY to Scotch Bonnet Island, Ontario, Canada and back. Sponsored by the Genesee Yacht Club.

Plan to leave U.S. East Coast in late May or early June for a single-handed non-stop sail to Horta, Faial, Azores.

Lake Pend Oreille Yacht Club is hosting the Cruise to Hope Idaho.  From our homeport in Bayview, this will be an approx 25 nm sail to Hope for a Saturday overnighter and return to Bayview on Sunday.

Our friends are sailing with us to South Bass Island in Lake Erie for the annual Pyrate Fest.  Always a good time!

We will be sailing out from Fidalgo Bay Washington and anchoring our on one of the other San Juan islands for the weekend.

We are planning to sail from Oakland, past San Francisco, around Treasure Island, stopping in Clipper Cove, possibly for the night.

Once repairs are done at Liapari Island, near Ghizo, Solomon Islands, I’ll aim for Port Moresby, PNG, then East Timor, and on to Bali and Thailand. Not sure exactly where I’ll be on this weekend, but I will celebrate the freedom that sailing offers.

We plan to head up to the San Juan Islands.  After a day of sailing through the tidal currents, we will find a quiet Anchorage to drop the hook and bbq a delicious meal on the longest evening of the year!

The Twin Cities Sailing Club will be holding our third annual Summer Sailstice Picnic and Sail. The event is open to people interested in the sport of sailing and in sailing on the Minneapolis chain of lakes. Wind and weather permitting, we may offer sail boat rides to the public. 

We plan to load the boat with sailstice celebrants and leisurely sail the pristine waters of Eastern Long Island.

Self describe sail the day on the bay together, practice some racing, share tips, lunch and the sunset dining, bbqs on the water.

The Greater Detroit Sunfish Club will be camping and sailing at the Muskegon State Park on Lake Muskegon, June 21-23.  There will be Sunfish sailboat racing for adults, women and Juniors on Saturday and Sunday, starting close to 10:30 am.  Open sailing will be available, too.  While campsites may

be there all summer, come join us!

I'd like to get several other boats to join us sailing to Santa Cruz Island, anchoring Saturday night and returning Sunday.  If you haven't been, it's a nice trip across the east Santa Barbara channel, past offshore drilling rigs, through the shipping lane, frequently with fair winds on the beam.

The 501c3 Disalbed Veterans Sail Day will be holding their 7th annual disabled Veterans Sail Day. Each year we take veterans out for a day on the water. We have sail boats power boats and Electric boats taking Vets out.

Saratoga Lake Sailing Club will be offering free sails on Saratoga Lake to introduce people to the sport of sailing. Go for a sail on one of our boats ranging from 16 to 23 feet.

Sooke Sailing Association, Sooke Sailing Co-op  and Starlight Sailing Adventures are getting together to get poeple on the water to sail with a raftup and pot lock dinner at the end. Join us for the fun!

Cruising Magothy River.  Overnight on either Broad Creek, Eagle Cove or Dobbins Island/Sillery Bay (depending on weather)

The Sailing Chavurah will sail around until it's time to party. We will send the anchor boat(s) in to the nearby creek and then the rest of us will follow in and form a raft or two. Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be the order of the day while we watch sundown from the cockpits.

S/V Windward is once again hosting Summer Sailstice somehow, somewhere, on Watauga Lake.  Details are pending, but if you have a boat, a good attitude and concurrent senses of humor and adventure, consider joining us for whatever this event turn out to involve.

The sixth annual Summer Sailstice will be held at High Noon on the Super Dock at LCYC.   We will have our traditional Pot Luck Buffet (you bring the sides - we’ll bring the meats) , plenty of Buffett tunes and some cool libations.
