The Wilmette fleet of Dolphin sailboats looks forward to its second year of participating the in the Summer Sailstice from Wilmette Harbor and Sheridan Shore Yacht Club. SSYC hosts the only active Dolphin racing fleet. The Dolphin is a sturdy 24-foot boat that is more comfortable than fast. All Dolphin fleet members and friends are welcome to share a pot luck dish at SSYC at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 20. Thereafter, the fleet will enjoy a sunset sail. If Lake Michigan cooperates, the participating Dolphins may raft up and share additional items.
