The X-Bay Challenge Regatta celebrates the appreciation of the Bay as well as friendly competition and camaraderie. This perpetual regatta seeks to celebrate the Bay’s intrinsic beauty, with its islands and bridges, and its challenge of wind and current.

This regatta looks to set a course that crosses the Bay to allow sailors to enjoy the different conditions unique to the Central & South Bay. We look forward to making this a fun challenge out on the Bay for all sailors.

This fourth annual regatta will begin in the Central Bay and finish at the South Beach Yacht Club. We will alternate the finish line every year so each club can alternately host the racing and hospitality as well as offer sailors a variety of courses and challenges from year to year.

As San Francisco Bay has learned 'friendly competition' joins the pantheon of oxymorons such as the America's Cup propostion that it's a 'friendly competion between nations,'  - the South Beach Yacht Club and Corinthian Yacht Club know how to make that work - or will do our very best!
