MAST Starting Drill and Sailstice Party, June 20th. First start will be at 11:30 at the MAST mark or inside the breakwater if weather dictates. Stand by channel 79 for instructions at 10:30.
We will attempt to get 10 starts off in 1 1/2 hours. Rules are simple and available on the MAST website. Any boat, any rating can participate. We will attempt to video the starts and show them at the post-drill party.
Party will be at Hanson Marina, 520 S. Water street, starting around 2. Uproar will supply hot dogs, jerk pork sandwiches and Veloce punch. Bring a dish to pass and join the fun. There will be grills, games and if technology smiles on us, videos of the starts. Plenty of room inside if weather is typical for this June!
Awards will be given for the best starting scores.
