Hudson Beach Yacht Club is having it's annual Blessing of the Fleet and Summer Sailstice Sail on Saturday June 20th at noon. The event will be held just .4nm SW of Marker 2 on the Hudson Channel in Hudson, FL.
All participants will circle the Blessing Boat and monitor Channel 72. When the ceremony begins a broadcast will begin on Channel 72. Once the fleet blessing is delivered on 72 boats will begin a close pass to the Blessing Boat to receive an individual blessing and sprinkle of holy water.
After the ceremony there is plenty of tide and two options. Some will just day sail and some will head south to Anclote to an anchorage designated that day depending on conditions. Raft up and party is likely.
