The summer solstice day of the year is fast approaching and we'd like to use up all that glorious sunshine for a Summer Sailstice on Saturday, June 18! The initial plan is to leave in the morning and sail out and around the Tybee Roads marker or circumnavigate Wassaw Island. Both options will provide us with a long day on the water, but the tide is in our favor with high tide just before 8 am. All of this is subject to the wind and weather and a final decision will be made in the days before the sail. However, the good times are guaranteed!
I'd like to see as many club members out there as possible, both those with or without boats. For all of those with boats, lets try and fill them up with all of the willing and able crew we have! If you are planning to join us or are interested in crewing on another boat let me know.
