Over 250 international crew members competing in the world’s longest ocean race will depart from New Jerseys Liberty Landing Marina, USA for the final Leg of the 8 Leg race series that takes eleven months and 40,000 miles to complete.

Known as one of the world’s toughest endurance events, uniquely for amateur sailors, the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race includes twelve teams on a matched fleet of 70-foot ocean racers, and the crew members on board make up over 40 different countries. Only the skippers on each boat are professionals and more than 40% of those taking part have no previous sailing experience when they sign up for the challenge.
