Hello Fellow Sailors ~
This will be fifth annual The Great Vashon Circumnavigation!
The plan as usual…meet up Friday June 22nd at high noon, sails flying, at the northwest Vashon Island buoy for the caravan sail southbound down the east channel of Vashon to Quartermaster harbor then raft up for the annual eat, drink and merry potluck feast :-)
On Saturday morning we will sail from Quartermaster to Gig Harbor! Usually takes us all of a couple hours sailing and trolling for ‘eat what we catch night’. Considering the volume this time of year, perhaps we should reserve slips at Arabella's Marina?
Sunday is the big turn back north up Colvos passage to home. Or, if weather and time permitting, Noreen and I may once again take a right out of the harbor and continue into the south sound for a few more days.
For those of you not sailing we also have the tradition of the Saturday afternoon party on the dock if you want to drive out and join for that festivity. We hope to see you all there then!
