Join us for a bay clean-up, sail (weather permitting), and a hot dog party!
In coordination with Clean Up San Carlos and 4Ocean, we will start with a bay clean up at Bahia San Carlos, then go for a quick sail. Whomever is in the local fleet is welcome to join at NO COST of course! We will then have a BYOB party, with hot dogs on the grill at Denny and Carla Grover's upstairs patio in the Bahia in the late afternoon.
DAY/TIME: 8:00 am, Saturday June 23, 2018 for the Bay Cleanup.
WHERE: Meet at the ramp, Marina San Carlos
BRING: Small watercraft (dinghy, kayak, paddleboard) if you have one, lots of sunscreen, water to drink and a hat. We'll provide the ride out to the bay and back, garbage bags and a designated collection area/pickup of trash retrieved.
If you are interested in going for a sailboat ride afterwards, send an email to avengeryachts@gmail.com or powersailsancarlos@gmail.com so we can match you up with one of the participating boats in the fleet.
Registered participants who assist in the bay cleanup receive a 4Ocean Anniversary Edition blue/white bracelet made from recycled plastic retrieved from the ocean, c/o Avenger Yacht Sales.
