Take a look at the Innovative new prizes for Summer Sailstice!

This week we've again added some more great prizes to the prize drawing for everyone who's signed up and sailing on the June 20th Summer Sailstice weekend.
These new products join the growing list of rewards on the prize page including the one-week charter from Sunsail. Take a look inside...

This great little product is available at Ship's Store in Sausalito - The GoSun Stove Sport is a portable solar-powered stove which will cook a full meal in almost any weather conditions. It’s completely fuel free, yet will steam, bake, fry, roast and boil. Hard to imagine right? Needing only natural light to do its job, this little stove can reach temperatures of up to 700°F (371°C), and at its optimum cooking range of 200°F – 550°F can cook a meal in around 20 minutes.

Imagine having one of these aboard your boat!  You could have your own little luau up on deck, or as it’s so easy to pack up, set up and use, maybe just throw it in the dinghy and head to the beach for a barbeque. Either way, isn’t it great to know you’re not spending any money on fuels, and being kinder to the environment? Sounds like an excellent idea to me!

While we’re on the subject of fuels and environments, how’s this for a great idea: the   JS12 Jump Starter Battery+.  This handy device will replace your old heavy cumbersome jump start cables, and is small enough to carry in your pocket. But wait there’s more… The nifty little box will also charge your phone and other USB connected devices, and has a built-in LED flashlight and strobe with SOS function. Wouldn’t you much rather carry one of these in your pocket, locker or grab-bag than those heavy clunky old cables and a big old torch and a bunch of spare Duracells?

comes in three sizes to start different size engines. The JS12, which incidentally weighs only .95lbs,  has enough power to start a 3.2 liter diesel engine. Perfect if you ask me. I hate using jumper cables as they weigh a ton and I have to find someone willing and able to provide me with a functioning battery to jump power from. Not any more, Weego is now the way I’ll go.

We’re also pleased to welcome back some of last year’s Summer Sailstice supporters. Spiroll Chafe Guards are again donating a number of protectors which prevent your dock lines from chaffing.

Spinlock USA have joined us again donating their award winning Deckvest Lite lifejacket. It’s ultra lightweight, low profile design has helped shape a more positive attitude toward personal lifejacket wear.

Zeko Shoes have also returned and as well as donating a pair of Zeko Shoes - perfect for boating or any other water activities, this year they are also offering Summer Sailstice sailors a special discount. Go to http://zekoshoes.com and enter coupon code “sailzeko25” during checkout to save $25 off your order!  If your order is over $100, you’ll also receive FREE Shipping!!

Adding to this week’s donations are Starboard Collection who have joined us again offering a set of colorful nesting bowls and a serving bowl from the Carina Range. These durable dishes also have a non-slip bottom to ensure your dinner doesn’t get away from you when you’re on the water.

So if all or any of these products sound interesting and appealing, make sure you’ve signed up for the upcoming Summer Sailstice and you’ll be in the running. Remember it’s now only 7 weeks away…
