Club Nautique member Roberto Almodobar and crew did the sensible thing for Summer Saisltice - they went sailing. It doesn't take much of a change in course to discover something new. Roberto sent in some pics and a few words to describe the day:
It was such a beautiful, perfect sailing day on Saturday June 18th, we decided to head for a new destination, and sailed up to the Golden Gate Bridge and Sausalito Yacht Club to literally pillage and plunder. Now that was awesome.
Thanks Club Nautique and Ballena Bay Yacht Club for providing the access. Special thanks to the Sausalito Yacht Club, who let us use their dock to have lunch at the picnic area next door. Next time we will return and dine in on the dock!
Skipper recommends a stop off here, easy side docking, and a mooring field, and friendly people.
Lunch in Sausalito on Summer Sailstice - easy docking, great view, great destination.

After a day like todayu it's hard to want to go back ashore.
