Summer is coming closer and so is Summer Sailstice, and from the look or our Event Map, Chesapeake sailors are getting well preapared to lead the charge into the summer sailing celebrations.
K deG volunteers as crew on the replica Tall Ship, Kalmar Nyckel which is berthed on the Christina River at the Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard in Wilmington, Delaware. Hampton Yacht Club & Broad Bay Sailing Assocation are planning a cruise complete with wine tasting, happy hour and a bonfire on Pirate’s Beach. But this not just a one-day event. This crew will party from Friday June 21 - Sunday June 23.
Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) invites people with disabilities and their families to go sailing on Chesapeake Bay on Sunday, June 23rd.
