Celebrations of the Science of Sailing aboard 'Celebrate'

Charlie and Cathy Simon hosted a presentation on the "Science of Sailing" aboard their yacht   ...

"We wanted to give back to the sailing community after our recent world circumnavigation.  So we partnered with Sail Nauticus in Norfolk, VA to hold a presentation on the "Science of Sailing" followed by an on-board open house on our boat "Celebrate". This was the first time for many of the attendees to see how a blue-water sailor is equipped and talk to people about the experience. Their enthusiasm was its own reward.

The picture is of "Celebrate" at the Nauticus Dock with all our flags up.  The smaller boats at the dock are the Sail Nauticus training boats which are put to good use every day.

Thanks to Sail Nauticus for their support and to everyone who joined us."
