The Summer Sailstice weekend is the weekend before the annual Master Mariner's Wooden Boat show.  That means, for Summer Sailstice, most all the owners of woodenboats to be displayed will spend Summer Sailstice weekend varnishing, polishing and generally buffing up their classic yachts so they will all be in tip top shape for the boat show the following weekend.  Of course, maintainging a classic is one of the great pleasures of owning a woodenboat so it's all part of the fun and a perfect way to celebrate sailing.

Make sure you come the next weekend to see the results and enjoy the world of traditional wooden boats:

The Corinthian Yacht Club is a magnificent location to spend the day visiting the Bay's classics.

Kids can launche their own wooden classics right in the harbor.

The magnificent schooner 'Eros' is tentatively planning to come.  Fingers crossed!  She's a beauty.

Come see all the classics!
