The first annual Green Flash Sailing Sailstice Race & Rally (R&R) will be this coming Saturday (Sunday the 21st in case of bad weather on Saturday). The course will be a 10 NM parade route up and down and up and down much of the Venice Florida Beach front. There will be a Start-Finish line about one half nautical mile from the Jetties and turning marks to the north and south, which will be separated by 2.5 NM. The course will sailed by starting at the S-F line and sailing around the turning mark selected by the R&R Committee, then to the other turning mark, back to the first turning mark, back to the second turning mark and finishing at the S-F line. Five legs for a total course length of 10 NM. See the Pursuit Start Times HERE.
There will be a post R&R get-together at a place to be announced later.
