Possibilities is a 1987 Catalina 38 that is a member of Nevada Yacht Club. Recently she's had a new Edson steering pedestal installed, her life lines replaced with Amsteel Blue (dyneema) and all of her lights are LEDs. The Sailstice event we are participating in will combine activities open to the public and be a demonstration of the best of what sailing Lake wMead has to offer, as both Nevada Yacht Club and Hobie Fleet 51 will be participating.
What does it take to have a sail race? Two boats with raised canvass on the water!
