NorthWest Sailing Assoc. The club from NW suburbs of Chicago has members participating on Lake Michigan from various harbors around Chicago. The members with trailerable sailboats are participating in Sailstice on Lake Mendota, Madison, WI. Four sailboats arrived and launched Friday with a crew of nine and three addition crew arrived Saturday. Also sea shanty singers from the Chicago area were invited to partcipate in a sailor/singer party to herald in the Summer Solstice Saturday evening. Challenging winds and storms rolled through during the day, but there is always the evening for grilling the brats, downing six packs of WI's Spotted Cow and the everpresent pirate's drink from that well known island in the Trades. All look forward to the SummerSailstice with the rising sun. Joe R
