Mieco Beach Yacht Club is a small yacht club (about 70 members) located in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, on Majuro Atoll. We are at 07'19"N and 171' E. Cruisers use the lagoon as a safe place to be during the cyclone season in the southern hemisphere. Some of us stay year round - living on our yacht.
All yachts remaining in Majuro for the season are invited to sail down to Enemanit (a 4 mile sail) on Saturday June 20th! Fly your club burgee and the Summer Sailstice Burgee.
Our first Summer Sailstice was in 2011 - with three boats participating. And we did a second even in 2013. Not to many boats here after May (they head south to Fiji once the cyclone season there ends). Hope to have three or four celebrate together this year!
