On Saturday 18th, Tampa Bay racers and cruisers sail in the Rally from Davis Island Yacht Club to Tampa's Sail Pavilion Bar downtown waterfront. Boats will sail up the Hillsborough River to Garrison Channel. The narrow channel between the buildings makes for interesting wind shifts and casual competition. Aside from joining the crowd at the destination to celebrate the solstice, we also expose people to sailing and promote our sport. This is our third year of hosting this fun event.
