Glad to be in the Apostle Islands with Apostle Iowans

What's it like to sail the Apostle's? Breeze? Sunshine? Swimmable water in June?

It is a wonderful sailing experience with beautiful islands and great anchorages. The are endless exploring activities throughout the islands. The water is cold but swimming is possible near the shallows of the islands. In June, the breezes are good. Just remember to watch the weather and respect the lake. As they say, "The Lake is the Boss". the islands provide excellent cover but don't push your luck. Bayfield is a fun town that really feels like a fishing village from the east coast. Enjoy your time and be safe.
