2PM -  Latitude 38 Rallies - Baja Ha-ha, Pacific Puddle Jump and Delta Doo Dah with Andy Turpin

Having done the Baja Ha-Ha rally 17 years in a row, Latitude 38 magazine’s managing editor Andy Turpin likes to joke that for him, doing the rally each fall resembles Bill Murray’s classic comedy Ground Hog Day. But he never tires of the event’s idyllic downwind sailing or getting to know hundreds of new participants. A lifelong sailor, Turpin has been reporting on sailing events in San Francisco Bay and beyond for Latitude 38 for more than 20 years.

Latitude 38 magazine’s Managing Editor Andy Turpin is a lifelong sailor who has long had a keen interest in the Tahitian islands and the rich Polynesian culture. For the past 16 years, he has been reporting on the annual Pacific Puddle Jume cruiser migration from the West Coast of the Americas to the islands of French Polynesia.  Plus more on this summer's San Francisco Bay Delta Doo Dah migration to the warm, freshwater delta cruising grounds.
