Florida -  Cortez Yacht Club hosting Raft up and Race!

The Cortez Yacht Club, at the mouth of Tampa Bay on the West Coast of Florida is rejoining us in the celebrations! They held an event in 2004 which you can check out at:  The Sunshine State knows how to enjoy Sun, Sailing, and Summer Sailstice. The year 2007 brings them back with some new plans:  A Friday night raft up in the Basin of Moore's & Mar Vista Restaurants with a Saturday morning  'just for fun' sail boat race in the Gulf of Mexico outside Longboat Pass. Saturday night will be raft up #2 and the celebrations will continue at ICW at Longboat Key Pass.

This event will become a Sarasota Bay Yachting Association Boat of the Year Regatta on Sailstice 2008 sponsored by Cortez Yacht Club.
