Indianapolis Sailing Club celebrates their second year!

First is the worst, second is the best, and third is the one with the pirate’s chest. Like the saying goes, second is the best, and this year the Indianapolis Sailing Club will be holding their second annual Summer Sailstice celebration for 2007. They’re calling it Summer Sailstice 2. This event will be tied in with their open house, which will be having a portsmouth fleet boat parade. The parade will show off the unusual boats and awards will be given to depending on the originality. They are hopefully expecting a big crowd from both the yacht clubs members and the general public.

So save the date: June 23rd and the Indianapolis Sailing Club, from 1:00 to 5:00 there will be Open House, from 5:00 to 8:00 there will be mingling and time on the water, from 6:00 to 7:00 the Portsmouth Parade, awards will be given at 8:00 and from 8:30 to 9:00 there will be the welcoming of the sunset and the beginning of the summer sailing season!
