"This is a great idea. We love to get folks out on their boats having fun in a non-competitive manner."

Summer Sol-tinni Sail with the Midnight Queen at the
Ninnescah Yacht Club

Sounds intriguing doesn’t it?  Like a scene out of the Land of Oz . . . Well, actually, Toto, you’re still in Kansas—Wichita to be exact.  And you happen to be a Wichita sailor, throw some lights on your boat and come out for a midnight sail with the Ninnescah Yacht Club.  Starting at 10:30 pm, club members will be holding a beach bonfire and cookout.  At the stroke of midnight, begin sailing under the light of the moon.  Keel boats, daysailers and multihulls will be out on the water strung with lights and playing midnight-worthy music.  Prizes will be awarded for most lights, best music, and most first-time sailors.  The Ninnescah Summer Sol-tinni will culminate with the crowning of the Midnight Queen.

Ninnescah Yacht Club is located on Lake Cheney, Cheney State Park in Wichita, Kansas.
