Pasquotank River Yacht Club in North Carolina will celebrate Summer Sailstice with the Archer Farmer Sailors Cup Regatta

Past Commodore, Wayne Mathews, invites you to join in the Archer Farmer Sailors Regatta Cup with the Pasquotank River Yacht Club in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. PRYC is in Northeastern NC if you're looking on a map. The event will be held on Summer Sailstice weekend, June 19, 2004, and this is the first annual Archer Farmer Sailors Cup Regatta.

The regatta is open to sailing vessels 22' and over. This is a non-spinnaker race so anyone who wants to race can be competitive. The course will be from downtown EC to the mouth of the Pasquotank River and back, 30 miles. A perpetual trophy for the winners name plate and 1 thru 5th place trophies for competitors. Hamburgers, Hot dogs and all the trimmings will all be available after the race. So if you, and your sailboat, just happen to be Elizebeth City area of North Carolina get in touch with the PRYC and sign up. Clearly it's another great place and way to celebrate sailing with a group of sailing friends.
