Never a club to miss an opportunity to sail, many members of Encinal Yacht Club in Alameda California are signing up and sailing the Sailstice.
Led by Paul Martson, three club members are planning a marathon Laser sail across the Bay on the longest day of the year. Other members include the Kidd's aboard their Zodiac RIB, Dave Albrand and his Hunter 35.5 'Tara', Dennis Power and his Nonsuch 30 'Gabrielle', John Foy and his Catalina 42 'Destiny' plus Troy Keipper with the Junior program's 10 JY Trainers.
Encinal Yacht Club is one of the most active sailing clubs on San Francisco Bay, with a great junior program, a wide variety of races and the Coastal Cup which starts June 22nd, the day after Summer Sailstice!
