It was awesome to have a booth at this year's Pacific Sail Expo (Jack London Square, Oakland, Calif.), and to have the opportunity to chat with past Sailstice participants as well as to help clear the confused look on many passers-by.
Just to keep the message clear, Summer Sailstice is a new, global holiday celebrating sailing annually on June 21st, the solstice and the longest sailing day of the year.
You can participate in this new holiday event by signing up at www.summersailstice.com and then take yourselves sailing on June 21, organize a raft-up with other sailboats and sailing friends, host a regatta.
