2003 Summer Sailstice Winners!
 Finally, just as the fall equinox passes, we've sorted the lists and done the prize drawing for the prizes donated by the growing list of Summer Sailstice supporters! The list (side bar) shows the prizes and the winners for 2003.
We like to continuously remind everyone that the grand prize is really for everyone lucky enough to be a sailor to get out and sail together. Summer Sailstice is not a contest but a celebration with some door prizes just for entering. Though sailors signed up from all over the world the vast majority are still from the US and prizes seemed to flow out accordingly. While not a contest we plan to institute some participation prizes in 2004 for things like the yacht club with the most entries which this year was the Branched Oak Yacht Club in Nebraska! Others with a large number of entries were the Pequot Yacht Club in Southport, CT, the Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon, CA and the Encinal Yacht Club in Alameda, CA.
Thanks again to all our supporters for their prize donations and their support of Summer Sailstice 2003. Also, thanks to you for joining us in a Summer Sailstice celebration - we hope you've sent in a story from your 2003 sail and are enjoying a great summer of sailing. We look forward to sailing with you again in 2004!
