Perfect for a day on the water or weekend trips in moderate conditions. The breathable Oxford nylon fabric with a hydrophilic coating is treated with a Durable Water Resistant (DWR) finish, so water beads up instead of soaking in. Breathability means that body humidity passes through the fabric as vapor without letting in external moisture. The gear is fully lined, with a free-hanging nylon taffeta lining with mesh drains at hem and ankles, to keep you dry and comfortable. Form-fitting, ergonomically designed gear is cut for active movement with articulated elbows, adjustable waistband, hood, collar and hem. Lifesling2 is Coast Guard approved and was proven to be most effective in recent Crew Overboard demonstrations conducted in San Francisco Bay. The Lifesling2 system consists of a flotation collar which is a blend of the traditional horeshoe buoy and a helicopter rescue sling. It's connected to 125' of multi-filament polypropylene retrieving line which allows the flotation to be towed or thrown to the overboard crewmember.
