Sailstice Tales are stories from individual Summer Sailstice events. The Current year stories will be posted in July after the current year’s event. The archives at the bottom of the page are the place to go see what others have been doing in past years. After your event you can send in your pictures and stories to john@latitude38.com. No more than 6 pictures/story to be sent 72dpi and under 300k/picture.

	Northernmost Sailstice? One of the more interesting trips starting just about on Summer Sailstice are two explorers intent upon circumnavigating the North Pole in a Corsair 31 trimaran!
	California - Sailing, Swimwear and Shifting the Lens Martha Blanchfield and John Cabrall are both active members and creators of activities through MeetUp.com. John a sailor and Martha a photographer. Together they thought a Summer Sailstice sail, some photographers, a beach and models in swimwear would be an ideal way to introduce new people to sailing and cooperatively share their passions. They found one of the sunniest, warmest places on an otherwise cool, breezy bay.
	Nevada - Lake Mead connected fleets and clubs for a Summer Sailstice extravaganza On June 19th, Summer Sailstice was celebrated at Lake Mead by the Hobie Fleet 51, Lake Mead Sailing Club, Las Vegas Sail and Power Squadron and the Nevada Yacht Club.
