North Cove Sailing School is Offshore Sailing School's eighth location, and is celebrating Summer Sailstice with a Community Summer Sailstice Celebration offering sail rides on June 20 to the general public. Offshore Sailing School Founder and Chairman, Steve Colgate, said they were “delighted to give give Manhattan and Battery Park City community members a ‘taste of sailing’ ride to celebrate the Summer Solstice.”
Guests are invited to take a one-hour ride for just $35 per person on June 20 from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Participants must be at least 7-years-old and a minimum of 50 lbs. Children must also be accompanied by an adult.

In other developments, Offshore Sailing School are launching their weekly 'KidsSail' program which will run throughout the summer from June 22 through to August 14, 2015. The program consists of five three-hour sessions which will be held on the Hudson River.
