Shoreline Lake in Silicon Valley Hosts Sailstice Open House

Shoreline Lake Sailing, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, took the opportunity of a sailing celebration to promote its lake sailing opportunities to the public and to add to their Father's Day events.

Somehow the instructors conned these people into thinking that sailing was both safe and fun!

Sailstice + Father's Day made for a great weekend of on- and off-the-water activities at Shoreline Lake: Lots of people having fun sailing and enjoying a new experience with Dad, as well as great barbecue, in the tranquil confines of this beautiful nature preserve.

As part of celebrating Summer Sailstice at Shoreline (a protected salt-water environment within the heart of Silicon Valley), along with the "regular" active sailing scene (Classes, Camps & Racing), every visitor had a chance to try their hand at sailing -- with free skippered sailboat rides for kids, racing demos for newbies/non-sailors, and 30-minute intro sailing lessons.

Instead of standing on the sidelines watching/cheering as their kids play sports dads actually were able to smile and sail with their kids.  Sailing makes every day a 'Father's (parents) day'.

Shoreline sailing shows how sailing is a simple solution to having fun with your kids.
