Multihulls Magazine Features Summer Sailstice

We're always happy to see when publications invite their readers to join all of us in a global celebration by including a story.  Multihulls Magazine has been reporting on the catamaran and trimaran world since 1975 and wrote a great story on Summer Sailstice in their most recent issue.  The issue also has a tribute to our multihull hero Hobie Alter and

Capturing the spirit of Hobie the article says, 'Hobart “Hobie” Alter, who started out shaping surf boards, and ended up shaping a culture, passed away peacefully at his Palm Desert home on March 29 surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 31, 1933 in Ontario, California, he was 80 at the time of his passing.'  The sailing culture and spirit Hobie shaped still pervades much of the world of multihulls and sailing.

Beyond Summer Sailstice and Hobie Alter the March - April issue includes lots of other inspiring multihull stories - a foiling 18 footer, the Flying Phantom, and some relaxing charter and destination stories.  As always, great stories on more ways to spend ways on the water under sail.  We're just hoping to be celebrating sailing on the weekend of June 21 with you and more readers of Multihulls magazine.

You can read about the new 'Flying Phantom' in the latest issue of Multihulls Magazine.  Looks cool to us.
