Man Overboard!

Man Overboard!

Luckily the water was only ankle deep!  And there was plenty of help on board to rescue him.

People often suggest that we introduce kids to sailing by inviting them aboard for a sail.  Alistair Murray of Ronstan may have gone overboard when he took up the challenge and had what must be a record-breaking 33 kids aboard his Tasar sailing dinghy!  The previous record was more like 22 set by, you guessed it, Alistair Murray.  We're not sure how many sailors or Tasars can fit in a phone booth but we now knowTasars have more capacity than many would suspect.  Perhaps your boat is undercrewed too and should have some more sailors (or sailors to be) aboard?

A rough calculation shows that if all sailors put the same ratio of people to LOA aboard we could have approximately 3.5 billion people on sailboats at the same time.  But then the cooler would likely run dry too quickly.

All aboard!  One man overboard but it's not so bad in ankle deep water.

Now in racing trim.
