Loick Peyron Invites the World Sailing for Summer Sailstice

Where's Loick Peyron celebrating his fourth Summer Sailstice?  At Multiplast Marine launching a very different multihull than the one's he's been racing around the planet and San Francisco Bay for the past decade.  In fact, it's a boat from almost four decades ago.

Loick commented, "I am pleased to participate in another year of Summer Sailstice! ...In fact, I am HAPPY, the name of my new little yellow oldies trimaran which I will sail to Guadeloupe from Sant Malo for the big Route du Rhum race starting on Nov 2nd.

For the weekend, I will hopefully be doing a little sailing ! ...and definitely some fine-tuning of my new yellow baby getting ready for this transatlantic dance.... I hope to see you out on the water too for this super cool endeavor. I mean: Summer Sailstice ! Let's celebrate the Sailstice together, sail fast and fun and enjoy yourselves and be safe... wherever you are. Bon week-end!!"  Want to sail 'with' Loick?  Sign up and sail this weekend - June 21/22.  You'll be joining Loick and the rest of the world sailing.

For the 2014 Rhoute du Rhum Loick is going back to multihull sailing's roots with a boat designed and build in the 70s.  'Happy' is a classic tri, designed and built by Walter Greene at Greene Marine in Yarmouth, ME.  In addition, Loick will be sailing only with the navigation insturments available 4 decades ago.  A classic challenge and a classic adventure for Loick Peyron.

It's adventures such as these that keep us thrilled to have Loick on board.  For as he's obviously done almost everything any sailor could possibly do he's always up for some new sailing adventure and always ready to celebrate sailing with all of us.
