The plan was for a comfortable 5-15 knot wind with a mid-morning hightide. However the weather didn't get the same memo and produced "gusty and fickle winds" which later settled into a "nice constant breeze". Despite a slow start, the eager crews enjoyed their sail to Ayala Cove on Angel Island, where they enjoyed lunch ashore before sailng back across the bay to their launch pad at Clipper Marina.
