Greek Isles for Summer Sailstice? Yes please!

For Jean-René Bannwart and his crew, sailing on the Aegean Sea and among some of Greece's most beautiful islands was a perfect way to celebrate Summer Sailstice.

Cruising on the azure waters of the West Sporades Islands, they sailed to Nisos Alonnisos and Nisos Kira Panagia. Jean-Rene` told us a little about the islands:

"All the area is a natural reserve but Kira Panagia is uninhabited and you are not allowed to go ashore. You can only stay in a nearly closed bay called Lim. Planitis in the north of the island."

"A fabulous moment to be alone (only our boat for 5 hours and a second one which arrived later for the night) in this place, surrounded by nature, birds and wild goats, like being alone on the earth!"

These photographs were taken on June 20th in the West Sporades islands in Greece, the most known being: Skiathos and Skopelos.

A very special Summer Sailstice indeed..
