Hi Jody & John, we'll be looking out for your entry. Happy Summer Sailstice! :)

On the prettiest evening of the year,  temps in the 70s and a beautiful sunset looking up the Rappahannock we sailed into the night under an almost full moon , also decorated by Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.   The wind was light and the Bay smooth.   The tide coming in made it hard to reach the outer marker but once around we rode it to the next mark under a spinnaker that would hardly draw.   Back around Stingray light we found some breeze and some of the rest of the fleet.  Keeping to the widest part of the Piankatank and finding more breeze to the left we tacked toward the finish and caught and passed another boat on the last leg putting icing on the cake that was a wonderful night to be on the Chesapeake Bay.
