Summer Sailstice is partnering with the Ocean Sampling Day team and they need two testers who have android smartphones that are willing to test the water when they are out sailing on the Sailstice! Volunteer for testing the kits and App:
I would be happy to find two sailors with an Android Smartphone who are willing to test the kits plus App and provide us with some feedback. The sampling kits allow multiple sampling so a small group or family would also be nice. It is important that they have an Android Smartphone!! (Iphone App is still under development). If you know a volunteer please provide me with name, contact email and shipping address as I need to send the kit box to him. For the App they will recieve a link from the developers team (Julia and Renzo). We are interested in feedback regarding things like (a) easy to use and understand, (b) intuitive handling, (c) can you use on a boat or is it too shaky, or (d) functionality.
It would also be nice if the volunteers would be willing to provide us with some photos and/or a small report for our OSD Blog. If the have some technical equipment like smartphone with videocamera they are also more than welcome to prepare short videoclips while testing the kits. However, this is not mandatory.
